If I recall correctly, when I first read this comic, it confused me and I wanted to cry. Afterwards, I suddenly noticed the joke, wiped away my tears and promised the creator that I'd upload it as soon as
There is one thing I dislike about this guest submission. The octopi in this comic all have the correct number of legs. It's like he doesn't even read this comic! Outrageous. If you somehow find it in your heart to forgive him, you might want to check out his deviantart account and look at the pretty pictures and things he has made and stuff.
Note: I must remind you that my lack of updates is not because I hate you all. I am an incredibly lazy, unmotivated person. Couple that with the fact that when I force myself to make a comic, this happens, I think you can maybe agree that it's for the best. Having said that, I'm about due for an update and I don't believe I can put it off for any longer, so expect a horrible comic at some point in 2012! Once again, thanks for the few of you who are still checking this blog for some reason. If I ever make merchandise, I'll give you a $1 discount. Just my way of saying thanks.
The look on the octopus' face in the last panel is priceless :D
ReplyDeletehahahah, sweet racks, I get it
ReplyDeleteI don't get it. Maybe the hideously perfect octopi are stopping the pun from making it's way off the screen into my brain.
ReplyDeleteI'll take the Ladder
Deletethat's where the joke is. Read on to be more obvious.
I'll take the LaDDer, say it quick.
.

I'll take the latter, dumbass.
This only works in an American accent. With other accents t's are not pronounced like d's.

I drink mine.
Deletehahaha, I'm going to leave now.
I address mine formally.
DeleteI cross my Ts
DeleteOh man I've just come across these comics today. Brilliantly unfunny but fun all the same!
DeleteBefore I read this comic, I asked myself a question:
ReplyDeleteDo homework or reac octopuns? I chose the ladder.

ReplyDelete.

ReplyDeleteI don't get it.
ReplyDeleteI don't get it.
ReplyDeleteI don't get it. :(
ReplyDeleteOctopi Plushie? Fuck Yes!
ReplyDeleteJust buy a regular octopus plushie, cut off a couple of legs and add tears.
DeleteThe comic you linked us to (with the tiger) is my all time favorite...! Every time I read it I laugh my ass off.
ReplyDeleteTiger? Seriously? Tigers don't have spots.
DeleteFavourite? Seriously? You have some problems.

ReplyDeleteI got it, all by myself! (I'm so proud!)
ReplyDeleteThese puns should be in IQ tests..
Haha I feel so lame. I just DONT get it! Hint? :)
ReplyDeleteI still don't get it. :(
ReplyDeleteWow, i feel smart. it took me like 2 minutes of staring blankly to figure it out.
ReplyDeleteshould have taken the former...
ReplyDeleteDo you want the former or the latter?
ReplyDeleteThe fun in this comic is either the misunderstanding of the launch pod or the smiling face in the last panel, but I think it's the ladder.
ReplyDeleteSomeone please explain it!
ReplyDeleteHe didn't pick the former, for those who don't get it.
ReplyDeleteWHY DON'T I GET IT
ReplyDeleteKittenslippers
ReplyDeleteI'm not entirely sure what the context of this comment is but yes, kitten slippers sound delicious.
DeleteBAHA! Pretty punny comic there mister Flamingo!
ReplyDeleteIt's mostly in panel two, for those that are struggling.
ReplyDeleteI have been waiting for this for weeks!
ReplyDeleteLadder/latter. The latter refers to the second option in a choice.
ReplyDeleteArgh took me ages to get that. Damn it Americans, pronounce your Ts properly!
DeleteYOU HAVE TO USE YOUR IMAGINATION.
DeleteOctopuns is all about IMAGINATION.
MOAR
ReplyDelete"Octopus" is not a second declension Latin noun!
ReplyDeleteI've well aware of this and have mentioned it multiple times.
DeleteI do not care, and never will care. I'm sticking with Octopi because I like it.
YOU LIE!
DeleteCalm down, Roy. Calm down.
DeleteI'm OctoImpressed with this comic.
ReplyDeleteIt's Tentacular!
No. Get out.
Deletehehe those silly octopodes
ReplyDeletei really like the expression of the octopus in the last panel
Those of us who still check this place despite your lack of updates are here because we love you, and we crave the things you make. If you just take a crappy old pun, and put it in a new context, we will eat it up.
ReplyDeleteThat's what I'm going to do from now on. All my jokes will be stolen!

This is truth. This person represents me and my interests.
DeleteI was just shown this comic by a wonderful, wonderful friend, and have read every one of these comics tonight. I also read most of the comments, laughing light-heartedly at the angry "please update" requests, and clicking merrily along to the many more comics I had left to read. But then I tried to press the next button under this comic. At first I thought my internet wasn't working. I clicked a second time. A third. My heart sank. There is no "next."
ReplyDeleteI laugh no more.
I am sad.
There is a "next" now, Cyndi. Come back. COME BACK.
DeleteI'm sorry.
grr angry comment blah blah
ReplyDeletelove this site though :)
grrr grrr grrr
DeleteWho else remembers when mr octopuns told us he would update regularly? You used to all the time...
ReplyDeleteThat doesn't sound like something I'd say.
DeleteOh so punny
ReplyDeleteClever puns everywhere
Too bad he won't update more often...
Oh well, theres still a lot to go through again!
Pretty please make more
Understand out need for this
Now, without further ado,
SIT DOWN AND FIND PUNS!
