#18 - Bowling



Alternate title for this comic: 'Super Mario Power-Ups Go Bowling And One Of Them Is Sad'.

Also, before anyone comments on the incorrect scoring system and the irregular number of frames per game: THE LAND OF OCTOPI USES A TOTALLY DIFFERENT SCORING SYSTEM SO SHHHHHH.

Oh, and drawing pins is horrible.

      Lightning can't strike twice in the same place dipshit, so in reality he should have switched lanes.....awesome co if Btw

      Actually it's been proven that it can, but that's a common misconception so it's understandable that you and the writer of this comic thought that.

      While it is absolutely true lightning can strike the same spot twice, EVEN without the help of a grounding antenna (which is why the Empire State Building would particularly get struck dozens of times, making it a bad example), the phrase "Lightining doesn't strike twice" is commonplace in sociaty, it is a well known phrase, which makes this pun work. The pun doesn't require facts, it just requires most of its audience understand what it's spoofing.

      Which is why I laughed my ass off.
